Among many types of office workers – I notice two major categories. Architects and Inbox Slaves.
An architect is one who thinks out of the box, is passionate and innovative. The architects like to face new challenges, and dedicate themselves to winning those. An architect is not limited to his desk all the day, and reaches out to get things done.
An Inbox Slave is one who has the ultimate intention of getting their inbox to zero. They are threatened by new challenges and are only interested in showing up. They only need a desk to sit from 8.30am to 5pm and hardly ever moves away. The inbox slaves are easily replaceable.
Being an architect is hard work, but it’s worth it. And an architect is hardly replaceable.
