Airline Industry Review

SriLankan Capacity Back to Normal, but When ?

Just to briefly let you know, that, Sri Lankan Airlines ( IATA: UL ) would bring back its capacity to its key destinations in Q3 2009. UL, currently under the management of the Sri Lankan goverment and led by the brother of presidential advisor Sajin Vass’ brother, would increase its frequencies to LHR to 12 and flights to BKK to 10. Two LHR flts, UL 507 and 509 would route via MLE. However, inefficient timings would destroy the chances of some connectivity options as none of the flights have a rationalized schedule with regular timings.
